Avalon's Change of Command - "Sophie"
Our foundation bitch, what a girl!
Sophie came into our lives in the summer of 2000. We were looking for a
companion for our male ridgeback. Of course I had been bitten by the show
bug so I began the process of finding a show girl too add to our family.
She finished her championship at two which is quite impressive considering I was
a novice handler. Sophie has gone on to produce a litter of outstanding
puppies. Today she watches over her pack with purpose and continues to
grace us with her presence. Sophie has the perfect personality. She
likes to be in charge but takes direction from humans well. She was a
super mom and loves having puppies around. Sophie has given us everything
we could have asked for and more. Want a naughty puppy story, a fun police
story, an extraordinary mom story, we've got them all! As she nears her
ninth birthday she is healthy and going strong.
